Children are among the most vulnerable to influence and manipulation. It is why it is so important to protect their innocence. It is becoming increasingly difficult to protect them because it seems no matter where you turn, the cultural shifts are seismic. Identity politics, indoctrination in schools, and children’s programming are inundated with material that favors the LGBTQ agenda and disfavors traditional family values.
On Saturday, participants in the Pride NYC event were heard chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we and we’re coming for your children.” Alyssa Farah Griffin, CNN political commentator and The View co-host posted on her Twitter profile that the event was a “fun & family friendly event.” However, video clips show scantily clad individuals and, in some cases, nudity. If threatening to come for our children was sarcasm or a joke, it certainly didn’t feel like one to some.

In July 2021 Breitbart News reported the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus deleted a music video with lyrics that promised to “‘convert” children to a worldview that is more tolerant” toward the LGBTQ community. Excerpts from the song warn LGBTQ activists will convert your children “bit by bit,” “you’ll barely notice it.”
“You think we’re sinful. You fight against our rights. You say we all lead lives you can’t respect. But you’re just frightened. You think that we’ll corrupt your kids if our agenda goes unchecked. It’s funny. Just this once, you’re correct.”
“We’ll convert your children. Happens bit by bit. Quietly and subtly, and you will barely notice it. You can keep him from disco, warn about San Francisco. Make him wear pleated pants. We don’t care. We’ll convert your children. We’ll make them tolerant and fair.”
All of this as “six trans activists” were allegedly found on June 17 “hiding and abusing minor children” in a Housing Authority unit in Boston. First responders were called to the apartment because an individual reportedly suffered cardiac arrest. By the time the fire department arrived, the person had died. Four children “less than 10 years old” were being hidden in a back room. Police found “6 cross dressing men, sex toys, drugs, and alcohol” in the apartment and the adults present denied there were children present. The children are now being held by the Department of Children’s Services (DCS).

And on June 23, the nation’s first elected Transgender State Rep. was arrested on charges related to the distribution of child sexual abuse material. It is absolutely true that transgender individuals have no special corner on the universe that distributes child sexual abuse material but it may allow them to assume identities that gives them easier access to victims. The fact that he was an elected public official with a record, who was distributing lewd images to minor children is extremely concerning. The fact that people knowingly elected someone with the record he had shows you how much we are willing to ignore.

It is certainly true that not all people in the Gay community believe children should be exposed to nudity or squalid, drug infested conditions. However, there has been a slow march to transform culture and influence our children. In the media landscape alone, there has been a marked increase in the number of LGBTQ characters in children’s animation. The programming is confusing to young children because it suggests there are more than two sexes (male or female) or that one’s biological sex is an unknown at birth to be determined by the individual or parents. The messaging is ideological in nature and has no place in children’s programming.
A study conducted by Insider shows “in the past decade, small-screen animation has undergone a noticeable shift. Representation in children’s cartoons in particular has increased in frequency, nuance, and overtness.” Insider made a database to track the trends in children’s programming. While Insider states “less overt LGBTQ” content has long been a part of children’s programming, representation has become “more direct…and is appearing at a faster rate, especially in the past decade.” The chart below demonstrates the explosion of LGBTQ content in children’s programming.
The second chart below shows increasing openness to confirming a character is LGBTQ in a given children’s show.
Insider found there was “a 222% increase from 2017 to 2019 in the number of LGBTQ characters confirmed in a new series or by showrunners of series that had ended.” Cartoon Network, Netflix, and the Disney Channel are in the top three spots for networks that offered the most LGBTQ characters in their series. A total of 96 LGBTQ characters and 19 LGBTQ-inclusive shows have aired on the Cartoon Network. Netflix had 6 characters and 14 shows, according to Insider reporting.
Of the studios involved in children’s programming, DreamWorks, Cartoon Network, and Disney had the most LGBTQ inclusive animated children’s shows.
Insider also found that children’s animation often resists directly identifying sexual orientation. “about 45% of the characters in the [Insider] database remained unknown or undetermined.” Cis, woman/woman, Cis, man/man, and non binary characters were highly represented at 102, 86, and 38 characters respectively. 90 percent of the programs with LGBTQ representation are behind a paywall, however.
It is important to make clear that not all in the LGBTQ community wish to indoctrinate and sexualize minor children. Gays Against Groomers has courageously stepped forward to resist the sexualization, indoctrination, and mutilation of children. However, children are being inundated with identity politics at every turn. The question is whether parents are willing to do what is necessary to address the culture that normalizes sexualizing children, mutilating minors or assigning sexual identities under the guise of “inclusivity.”
